At the beginning of the month, we traveled to Lexington, Kentucky for one of our FAVORITE marathons, The RuntheBluegrass Half Marathon. Rightly Referred to as "America's Prettiest Half Marathon. This was the first marathon expo we have been back to since Covid -19 and it was so amazing to be back around all of the runners and attendees! Everyone had such great energy and we were so excited to BE BACK! If you have never checked out this marathon - this is one you MUST get on your radar for next year. Its definitely a getaway weekend and the race director leaves no detail out. Southern Hospitality is A+ at this one. Tour the thoroughbred farms, run the marathon through the farms and see the beautiful scenery and YES - there will be BOURBON. Hope to see you next year!
Next up on our schedule, the bend team splits up and heads to two races at the end of the month - The Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati and The Pittsburgh Marathon.
